Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and complements the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.

Recent events of Covid-19 have meant that Lizzie’s sessions have all been cancelled and unfortunately, due to Bee Outdoors being a new business, it will not qualify to benefit from the grant released by the government on 26/03/2020.

Forest School Practitioner Lizzie Lee has dug deep and has tried to turn this situation into a positive. By creating Five In The Hive 7 day outdoor activity and wellbeing guide, Lizzie wants to reach out to families and help them have some fun outdoors (when it is safe to do so following government guidelines)

The pack aims to provide a daily routine to get families outdoors in their garden with fun outdoor craft activities and also some simple yoga exercises to help with feeling good!

The pack is currently available to download (PDF) from the Facebook group FIVE IN THE HIVE

The Facebook group provides online community support and daily vlogs by Lizzie that run alongside the guide.

There are also additional FB live videos by Lizzie where adults can interact and chat about how they are feeling during time of self-isolation during Covid-19.

As we are in difficult times, Lizzie is giving this guide to you on a Pay as You Feel basis.  If you are able to contribute to Bee Outdoors, payments can be made to: Lizzie's PayPal

Lizzie is happy to email the pack to anyone unable to access Facebook group – please email
