OK, so you've found yourself a new career!
It may be a career that you neither wanted nor trained for, but you're doing it.
Unless you're a trained teacher, this is something that you're no expert on, and it probably fills you with lots of anxieties. All you can do is your best! Don't be too hard on your self and only set realistic targets.
And remember, you're hardly going to get a visit from OFSTED!
Our School Life expert, Miss Potton has the following advice and info:
Although this is a very difficult time we are all experiencing lets look at the positives it brings. Our live's can be very busy and stressful at times so this is an opportunity for us to put the brakes on and take a step back from our hectic life's. We have been given a chance to spend quality time with our families, exploring our relationships, discovering our hidden talents and simply enjoying each other’s company.
Let’s remember that this a new experience we are all going through and we can only do our best. Please don’t be scared of the term “Home– schooling”. Let’s use this opportunity to have fun, get creative, play games, daily exercises as a family, playing in the garden and reading our favourite stories together.
